Sources before claims
Hotel facts are checked against official hotel or brand sources. Destination context uses the Dominican Republic tourism authority where available. Guides link to sources and display the date those sources were checked.
What a check means
A source check verifies what a page said on that date. It is not a first-hand visit, a mystery-shopper review or a promise that a hotel will admit a particular visitor. Access, pricing and opening hours must be confirmed for the intended date.
Independent coverage
We do not claim hotel affiliations or preferred access. Editorial planning suggestions are our own guidance and are distinguished from facts attributed to a venue. We do not publish paid rankings or fabricated reviews.
Publishing and updates
New pages move through research, drafting, fact checks and human approval. Translations receive their own review. Pages with outdated or unverified material are revised, held back or removed from the index.
